HIGHLY RECOMMEND! We needed rug replacement on our stairs due to a bleach spill. We needed a portion of our bedroom rug replaced due to a water spill and one room had rug stretching. Tobias and his assistant took care of all of our needs quickly, professionally and at a reasonable cost. They were professional and personable. Our rugs look amazing and you can’t even see the difference. They even took carpet out of a closet to provide the patch in the bedroom so it looks more exact and put the new carpet in the closet. I was in a hurry to get carpeting in a closet with a washer/dryer. There are tenants in that home and the w/d had been sitting in the living room for a week waiting for carpet. The fellow arranged by the contractor kept putting it off.
I finally decided to search on my own and I found Tobias at Mercer Island Floor Coverings. He understood my hurry and he was here the very next day. He installed the carpet in no time at all and did a fine job. I definitely recommend and I will use him for my next flooring project.

Tobias Myrfors, owner of Mercer Island Floor covering is just simply the best guy out there in the floor covering business. His skills are exceptional, his prices are more than fair, he is fast, courteous, reliable and he is just a really good man who does really great work for the dollar. He came to our home and laid carpet and did our stairwell in half the time I thought it would take, and the finished product was worth three times what he charged. In another area we had a carpet we thought needed to be replaced, he suggested a re-stretch and it is back to being like it was when put in, nice, neat and tight, and it cost peanuts compared to replacing it. We didn’t even know you could re-stretch a carpet, it was pretty amazing. Call Tobias, you won’t be sorry.
